1. Choose an invoice layout

Pick a template that suits your brand. Invomatic ships clean, modern, and classic layouts. You can preview them on the invoice templates hub.

2. Add business + client details

Include your logo, business name, email, and address. Add the client’s company, contact person, and preferred billing email so there’s no confusion when they receive the invoice.

3. Set invoice metadata

Create an invoice number (e.g., INV-2024-007), select the issue date, and set a due date. Consistent numbering makes tracking payments much easier.

4. Itemize your work

For each service or product, add a clear description, quantity, rate, and amount. Use multiple line items to separate phases like “Discovery,” “Design,” or “Monthly retainer.”

5. Add tax, discounts, and notes

If you need GST/VAT, add the percentage in Invomatic’s tax field. Enter any discounts or deposits and use the notes area to explain banking info or links to payment portals.

6. Review totals and export

Double-check subtotal, tax, and balance due. When everything looks good, click “Download PDF” or copy the secure invoice link to share with your client.
